Protect yourself with the acupuncture point Lung 9 |
As the flu season approaches, don’t let yourself get caught out in the cold! As the body’s temperature declines, this causes the immune system to weaken, which in turn makes us more susceptible to illness during the cold winter. Use the acupuncture point Lung 9 to help support the respiratory system, so you can protect yourself and stay healthy. |

Wind and Cold are among the six external pathogens in Chinese medicine. When Wind invades the body, the skin and lungs are the first areas to be affected. When Cold invades the body, it steals the energy needed to fight off infection. These pathogens can directly affect the function of the lungs.
This can lead to a build-up of fluids in the lungs, to give one example.
Lung 9 is also a Yuan Source point, which means this point directly links the meridian with the lungs. The Yuan Source points are highly useful for helping to regulate the function of their associated internal organ, balancing the flow of energy, and they often produce rapid results.
Note: Although Lung 1 is a popular acupuncture point used with LifeWave, Lung 9 gives similar benefits with more powerful results. |
